Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for STRL Mission Support Positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: As a Logistics Management Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation and overall success of Manuever Support CDID. Responsibilities Provide IT logistics support to ensure the organization continues its mission. Serves as primary hand receipt holder for organization. Management of non-expendable, durable, and expendable IT and installation property supplies. Establish and maintain primary and sub hand receipts at the organizational level and issue and turn-in excess property. Distribute IT assets to DAC users. Stocks, maintains, and issues MS CDID supplies. Primary card holder for MS CDID, responsible for purchasing supplies and equipment. Participates in the upgrading of MS CDID offices and facilities, primarily by providing pertinent supply information to include the procuring of equipment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Basic Requirement for LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST DE-0346-02: General Experience: Three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the GS-04 grade level, which includes (1) Provide customer service related to Information Technology (IT) hardware, and (2) Track and/or organize data using computer systems such as spreadsheets or/or word documents. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service DE-01 (GS-04 Equivalent). OR Education: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
