Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT N977 MARITIME INDUSTRIAL SUPPORT DIVISION. Responsibilities You will research impediments to supply support, intervening when possible, to accomplish positive supply action. You will analyze and summarize technical data to report supply support status to customers when requested. You will employ supply chain management processes, procedures, and tools to enhance the availability of materials and supplies for accomplishment of maintenance projects. You will develop and maintain relationships with logistics personnel at operational and management levels to facilitate efficient work procedures. You will utilize supply support systems to generate data required to prepare critical item reports. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing work equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector supporting submarines and maritime industrial maintenance availabilities to achieve positive supply action on material requirements. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing logistics program planning policies and procedures to execute supply chain management processes and procedures; 2) Employing supply chain management processes, procedures and tools to enhance availability of materials and supplies for accomplishment of maintenance projects; 3) Analyzing and evaluating logistics data to coordinate supply support for assigned systems, equipment and platforms; 4) Formulating provisioning plans, schedules and supply support programs.
