About the Position: Performs as a Logistics Management Specialist. This is a Temporary appointment NTE 1year. This is an obligated position See "Additional Information" section. Responsibilities Provide property book analysis and asset visibility reporting as the property book/asset visibility custodian. Develop internal policy as it pertains to property accountability and/or management. Identify problems in property management and/or accountability operations for the development of recommendations. Oversee implementation of corrective actions and program enhancements to meet mission goals. Develop policy and procedures on property accountability and equipment management. Assist supported units in the preparation and processing of investigative reports. Evaluate plans and ensures the implementation of corrective actions/changes reflect new requirements, technologies, and safety concerns. Provide guidance on all Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss (FLIPLs) initiated within the command. Review Modified Table of Organization Equipment (MTOE), Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA), and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) equipment authorizations for the Command. Maintains area of responsibility on asset visibility and property accountability for all organizational and installation equipment.
