About the Position: Logistics Management Specialist (Order Fulfillment) in Army Materiel Command (AMC), delivering logistics, sustainment, and materiel readiness from the installation to the forward tactical edge to ensure globally dominant land force capabilities. Responsibilities Support planning, development, implementation, and management of effective and affordable product support strategies for demands throughout the life cycle for weapons, materiel, or information systems. Manage and deliver repairable products and services to enable and sustain systems for operational readiness. Support weapon system manager in the development and documentation of Class II and IX repair parts for identified Class V, VII, and IX support strategies. Provide advice and consultation to the Director and stakeholders. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Developing guidance and governance policies for order fulfillment processes and policies; 2) Initiating order fulfillment reviews to determine process control and continuous improvement opportunities; 3) Creating recommendations on major changes in organizational structure; AND 4) Advising and providing strategic level briefings to senior leaders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-13. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Oral Communication Organizational Awareness Planning and Evaluating Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
