A Logistics Manager overseeing a 3rd-party warehouse operation is responsible for managing the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes. They act as the key liaison between the company and the third-party provider, ensuring service level agreements are met, optimizing warehouse operations, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. The role involves analyzing performance data, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and resolving operational issues. The manager also collaborates with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and continuous improvement in warehouse processes.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Performance Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the 3rd-party warehouse to ensure timely and accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods, meeting predefined service level agreements (SLAs).
Inventory Control and Accuracy: Ensure accurate inventory management, regular cycle counts, and reconciliation of stock to minimize discrepancies, prevent stockouts and optimize inventory turnover.
Third-Party Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with the 3PL provider, ensuring they meet performance expectations, resolve issues promptly, and uphold quality and safety standards.
Problem Solving and Issue Resolution: Proactively address operational challenges, including inventory discrepancies, order delays, and logistical bottlenecks, working with the 3PL provider to resolve issues quickly and prevent recurrence.
Collaboration with Internal Teams: Coordinate with procurement, sales, customer service, and other departments to align warehouse operations with broader business objectives and ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

At least 5 years of experience in area of Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, Transport between factories & warehouses,
Understanding of supply chain processes, e.g.: including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics optimization,
Familiarity with the dynamics of working with third-party logistics providers, including managing contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and performance monitoring,
Openness to travel up to 10%.
