**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Logistics Manager** to join our team! We are seeking an experienced leader with in-depth knowledge logistics to develop and implement as innovative logistics plan for the Department of Homeland Security, Immigrations & Customs Enforcement (ICE), and Customs & Border Patrol (CBP) holding/detention/ deportation mission requirements. This leader will work with the Site Director to ensure logistics services enable compliance with Correctional Association (ACA), ICE, and CBP standards and institutional best practices. Join the Parsons Team in helping our DHS, ICE, and CBP professionals with mission critical temporary detention facilities nationwide.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Overall responsibility for development and implementation of a resilient concept of logistics including supply chain risk management, subcontract, warehousing, shipping, accountability, and material procurement strategies to support all life support actives for one or more temporary detention facilities.
+ Life support activities include food, utilities (Power, water, sewar), IT & Comms (Govt and non-Govt networks, radio), sanitation, etc. The Logistics Manager will work with the Site Director to ensure logistics services enable compliance with Correctional Association (ACA), ICE, and CBP standards and institutional best practices. The Logistics Manager will use principles of program management and continuous improvement to enhance logistics operations and essential detainee care programs.
+ Develop and manage resilient logistics infrastructure based on each site’s mission support requirements.
+ Develop and implement logistics facility and vehicle maintenance, life cycle sustainment plans (LCSP).
+ Identify logistics and supply chain criteria and metrics.
+ Develop and manage program/project supply chain risk management plans.
+ Develop and manage diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS) and obsolescence management plans from multiple sources of supply.
+ Develop and manage system/component exchange, salvage and disposal across the system's life cycle.
+ Develop and manage the engineering data for provisioning plan.
+ Implement, integrate and leverage logistics maintenance management system/components inventory; property and asset management; maintenance and spares management; and transportation, storage and distribution systems.
+ Develop and manage an item unique identification (IUID) and IUID registry plan for system and subsystem items as directed by Parsons’s policy or the US Government.
+ Develop and manage hazardous shipping, storage and incident plans.
+ Identify end to end POR risk, challenges and deviations and develop suitable courses of action for risk mitigation; drive continuous process improvements throughout the supply chain for all assigned activities.
+ Develop and manage government property management plans to include proper usage, storage, transportation, care, accountability, and reporting.
+ Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.
+ Issue written and oral instructions, develop work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedites workflow.

+ Systems Acquisition and Program Management and Training
+ Federal Contract Management and Training (DFARS)
+ Advanced Logistics Management and Training
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Minimum pass an ICE background investigation
+ Live in the Northern VA area | Hybrid (In-office/Remote work schedule)
+ 15+ years’ work experience in a logistics related job; specific detention facility logistics experience desired.
+ Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
+ Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively within a team setting and with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
+ Highly organized; possess excellent organizational skills to balance many tasks without losing sight of the highest priority items.
+ Able to work independently to achieve the desired end state; exhibits high levels of leadership, initiative and personal responsibility for team outcomes.
+ Be able to travel within the US as the need arises for short durations (1-4 weeks).

Salary Range:
$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
