Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Logistics Officer to manage and coordinate the handling of IFEC spare parts within a fast-paced hangar and warehouse environment. The role involves receiving, storing, issuing, and monitoring critical aircraft spare parts while ensuring compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards.
Inventory Management:
Receive, inspect, and bin incoming IFEC spare parts.Ensure proper labeling and storage of all parts.Issue spare parts as per operational requirements.Monitor and manage stock levels, including critical and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) parts.Identify and report any stock discrepancies or damages.Logistics Coordination:
Handle AOG and critical spare part requests on priority.Arrange repairs and coordinate with the repair shop.Liaise with dispatch, receiving, inventory, and main stores teams regarding shipments, discrepancies, and misplaced items.Process and route defective stock items for investigation.System & Compliance Management:
Release spare parts through the Maintenance IT system.Perform cycle counting, stock verification, and inventory audits (weekly, monthly, annual).Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) regulations.Monitor parts with life expiration requirements.QualificationsExperience: 2-5 years in stock/inventory management, preferably in an aviation or technical warehouse environment.Certifications: None required, but relevant logistics or inventory management training is a plus.Skills:Knowledge of inventory control and logistics operations.Familiarity with Maintenance IT systems for spare parts management.Ability to work in a shift pattern, including weekends and holidays as needed.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Excellent coordination and communication skills.Additional InformationAbility to work in a high-paced, physically demanding environment.
Willingness to travel or work in different locations as needed.
