Candidate profile (title) Who you are Candidate profile (text) - Default language Being Logistics Operations Manager (we call this internally Fulfilment Operations Manager) you will lead the End-to-End daily running fulfilment unit (store) operations (including plan and manage operations and resources ; receive, put away and replenish ; pick, pack and ship ; manage inventory) by leading, coaching and developing the operations team leaders. You are accountable for high quality performance with high quality at lowest possible cost and the customer in focus, always with an everyday safe, sustainable, and healthy work environment in mind.
To be successful in your role, we expect that you have:
- Experience of leading leader (preferable in distribution, retail, logistics or similar) with a proven record of successful strategic leadership delivering both business result and people development
- Proven ability to lead, inspire and engage others in a changing environment with a commercial focus balancing efficiency, inspiration and profitability
- Experience of working through others, set priorities, delegate responsibility, and give open and honest feedback
- Experience in applying tactical and operational thinking and implementing action plans, providing clear direction and following up goals
- Proven analytical skills understanding budget, cost and key performance measurements used to plan, follow up and steer the business and work on plans over several years
- Passion about logistics and have the ability use your know-how to optimize processes with high quality understanding the financial impact and customer experience
- Good knowledge of Customer Fulfilment performance monitoring and influencing factors
- Good knowledge of working methods securing excellence in Fulfilment Operation processes together with relevant stakeholders
- Good knowledge of Supply Chain methods, policies and requirements toward the IKEA unit and its business partners
- Very good knowledge of all relevant standard operating procedures for Customer Fulfilment to keep all co-workers and customers safe
- Good knowledge of resource planning in accordance with potential sales scenarios, forecast and fulfilment flows allocation
- Good knowledge of problem-solving and process improvement methodologies

- Responsible for securing efficiency, implementing improvements, new operational processes, technologies and ways of working throughout the operations (inbound, replenishment, outbound, services execution) in order to enable an excellent customer and co-worker experience
- Responsible to secure a close cooperation and strong communication with Fulfilment Integration team, unit management team or support functions and External Transport/Service Providers, in order to secure the highest goods availability and customer order fulfilment at the lowest possible cost
- Accountable to ensure that the Fulfilment Operations team works in compliance with the IKEA code of conduct, all functional relevant Standard Operating Procedures, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation related to health, safety, security, and the environment
- Responsible for leading, coaching, developing, and inspiring a high performing Fulfilment Operations team by working closely with Fulfilment Integration team, including communication, flexibility, performance culture, competence development, succession planning, maintaining a work environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion and well-being
- Responsible for the implementation of the Customer Fulfilment Sustainability agenda in the assigned unit operations environment
- Responsible for driving cultural change towards Lean thinking in the fulfilment unit.
