The logistics operations manager will manage one or more categories within the Ireland logistics function.
The LOM has a core responsibility to drive Operational Excellence and manage suppliers for the storage and movement of inbound, interplant, and outbound material, equipment, and finished goods through our Suppliers.
They will measure supplier performance using our key metrics in line with the contracted service offered.
The LOM will be required to collaborate with many partners, stakeholders, customers and contribute as a Subject Matter Expert to continuously improve the quality/service/cost offering and develop logistics solutions based on stakeholder needs.
The LOM will work closely with our suppliers to evolve and maintain their service offering in line with Intel requirements.
QualificationsYou must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical discipline (Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing)
6+ years of experience in one or more of the following Disciplines:
Warehouse and Transportation Management.
Supply chain management.
Logistics supplier Management and supplier performance improvements.
Analytical skills to gather cost/financial data and synthesize for report out to stakeholders
Proven track record in solving problems, delivering cost savings through data analysis - see patterns and trends and to draw meaningful conclusions from them.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business or Technical discipline (Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing).
Dangerous goods safety advisor qualifications and experience
Experience in logistics for capital equipment/large out of gauge equipment
