Logistics Operations Manager

**Summary:**
Meta is looking for an Operations Manager supporting the global roll out of infrastructure. The person will be responsible for logistics support and deployment planning for data center hardware globally. In addition, the person will build partnerships with various internal business partners, support scaling the organization, manage escalations, roll out tooling, coordinate execution activities and ensure operation efficiency in a high-velocity and growing business area. This position is for a professional who can mentor and grow processes, operate complex programs, maintain engagement with multiple stakeholders, and envision the future systems and processes to support growing customer needs.Lastly, the role has high visibility and will be responsible for driving large scale execution & transformations and interfacing with leadership.
**Required Skills:**
Logistics Operations Manager Responsibilities:
1. Engage with internal customers and gain understanding of their current and future needs. Shape the customer-facing strategy of the team and roadmap internal activities in support of the vision
2. Support the Deployment team in line with Meta and IBOS strategic priorities, including end-to-end global program development, identification and oversight of strategic priorities, continuous improvement, development, standardization, and implementation of processes, tooling and training
3. Decision maker for Deployment support across people, process and systems. Enable standardization and scaling of current processes. Proactively monitor, manage, and report on execution of deliverables
4. Formalize and standardize data analysis and coordination across IBOS and cross functional partners, which includes, budgeting, planning, fulfillment, finance & transportation, to mitigate and manage risk. Determine optimal supply chain execution through quantitative and qualitative analysis
5. Develop standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize deployment efficiency
6. Collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize capabilities and develop / scale operational management practices
7. Assess the supply chain costs that are directly attributed to the support of different programs to provide a better understanding of how current priorities affect performance across the supply chain
8. Support developing and implementing tools, processes and systems for tracking, analyzing, and reporting inventory
9. Enable effective operational performance & execution across Meta’s multi-echelon supply chain
**Minimum Qualifications:**

10. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Inventory Management or in finance. Other technical education, experience and degrees will be considered based on professional experience
11. Demonstrated experience in influencing partners, organizations, successful mentoring, supporting growth of other employees and teams, and other areas
12. Track record of successfully leading initiatives in a geographically distributed, cross functional environment
13. Demonstrated track record of crafting clear and concise, emails, reports & documents for a broad range of stakeholders
14. Demonstrated experience leveraging data backed models to drive business decisions
15. Four or more years of experience in a matrixed organization, with experience identifying, managing and solving complex problems
16. Four or more years of experience in materials lifecycle management, supply chain management, inventory management, operations, manufacturing, or other work in the areas

17. Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or MBA
18. Experience in logistics operations in a global high growth environment
19. Experience dealing with a high degree of ambiguity and driving clarity across teams
**Public Compensation:**
$113,000/year to $163,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
