What you’ll do 

Responsibilities may vary depending on the specific position assigned, but they may include: 

Logistics

Support daily management of all Cenovus logistical functions including fleet planning, product scheduling, & inventory managementProvide analytical support to better understand and articulate logistics movements, costs and performanceProvide back-up to pipeline, terminal, truck, and rail schedulersDevelop standard reports and respond to data requestsParticipate in operational and planning meetings with the Logistics team and other functional groups

Analytics

Develop and maintain standard reports, ensuring timely and accurate responses to ad hoc data requestsEnhance performance reporting for marketing, trading, and scheduling teams, improving data accessibility and actionable insightsAutomate report generation and data delivery, streamlining communication with key stakeholders and improving operational efficiencySupport economic, pricing, and forecasting functions by providing data-driven analysis to optimize decision-making processesConduct in-depth market studies and analysis, identifying key trends and opportunities to inform business strategyPerform statistical analyses to provide valuable insights into business activities, supporting strategic planning and performance evaluation

Who you are 

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications: 

Legally authorized to work in the U.S. full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon request (e.g. passport, Social Security, etc.)Available to begin work on or around September 8th, 2025Ability to work well in a team environmentSolid analytical and Microsoft Suite skills, specifically ExcelExcellent interpersonal, judgement, and decision-making skills

Education 

Must be enrolled in an Undergraduate Program studying Business (Finance, Economics, or Marketing/Logistics preferred) or Engineering (Chemical or Computer Science preferred) at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work termCandidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be consideredNew graduates are not eligible for student opportunities
