Logistics Order Support Coordinator (Remote, Must Reside in Louisville, KY Area)

The Logistics Order Support Coordinator will be responsible for communicating with customers to schedule daily shipments out of a specified warehouse or for a specific customer account utilizing the ERP system, Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). This person will also be responsible for primary communication from the Logistics distribution groups with Sales, Transportation, our carriers, Local Delivery and Customers to ensure orders are scheduled to meet customer delivery requirements while balancing cost and service. This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside in the Louisville, KY area. **Position** Logistics Order Support Coordinator (Remote, Must Reside in Louisville, KY Area) **Location** USA, Louisville, KY **How You'll Create Possibilities** **Responsibilities:** + Partner with Transportation Planner and own primary communication with customers to assign and confirm daily delivery appointments. Utilize ERP Web Based system (OTM) to document customer delivery appointments. + Develop and maintain daily shipping calendar for Velocity customers and special accounts. Plan, assign carriers and send shipments to the ADC to ensure utilization of all available inbound appointments is maximized and negotiate with customer and TM to increase/decrease inbound appointments weekly as needed to match volume. + Own Meet Truck planning process within Logistics for the “POD” to partner with Local Delivery agents to confirm delivery appointment requests by SDSs, collaborate with Logistics Coordinators. + Daily verify no missed Meet Truck shipments. Escalate unscheduled orders to be cancelled or planned to ensure efficient use of inventory and maintain high shipped in window delivery performance. + Manage the communication for the POD from other business teams to convert orders back to working and respond to other inquiries **What You'll Bring to Our Team** **Position Requirement:** + Proficient in MS Excel and Web Based applications + Strong communication skills, both oral and written + High focus on customer service + Clear thinker in a fast-paced environment + Proven experience in teams + Capable of multi-tasking and providing strong attention to detail **Minimum Qualifications:** + Associate or bachelor’s degree or minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience **Preferred Qualifications:** + Previous experience in order service, sales, transportation, or logistics + Previous experience in working from Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) + Views changes in our internal and external processes as an opportunity to grow and improve **Our Culture** At GE Appliances, creativity meets passion and conversations lead to exceptional outcomes and experiences.
