Hiring Requirements:
The Logistics Planner ensures the efficient planning, allocation, and management of trays and dollies used for shipping and storing bread products. This role is critical in optimizing resource utilization, maintaining cost efficiency, and supporting operational and customer needs across multiple regions. The individual must demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives. This role requires bilingual proficiency.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage the planning schedules for trays and dollies to ensure availability aligns with production and distribution requirements. Monitor tray and dolly usage to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions to minimize costs and waste. Collaborate with Production, Logistics, and Sales teams to forecast demand for trays and dollies and adjust plans accordingly. Coordinate with regional facilities to track tray and dolly movements and maintain accurate inventory records. Communicate daily tray and dolly plans and updates to all relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth operations. Analyze data related to tray and dolly usage, preparing reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects aimed at improving logistics processes, cost reduction, and resource optimization. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners to support operational goals. Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements in logistics planning activities. Experience & Education Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. APICS CPIM/CSCP certification or similar is an asset. 2-3 years of experience in logistics planning or a related role within a manufacturing environment. Bilingual proficiency (English and French) is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with Oracle or other ERP systems. High standards of integrity, self-motivation, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Must be available to travel to various locations across the country as needed. Effective change management and influencing abilities. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Detail-oriented with a customer-focused mindset. Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Proven ability to maintain costs and service levels at or below budget expectations. Demonstrated accountability and leadership. Working Conditions: Primarily Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed by business requirements. Flexibility to adjust shifts to meet operational demands.
