Logistics Planner

Responsibilities:

Serves as the first point of contact for all our partners of moving repositioning containers and consistently deliver professional support and service.Regional fleet planning via road, air and oceanExecution of repositioning of containers. Organize movements of empty containers between our ground handling stations or back from customersCommunication with trucking companies, airlines and freight forwarderRun analysis of data and work with logistics planning toolsMaintain adequate knowledge of systems and application software used to provide a high-level support to customers.Maintain and consistently demonstrates a general knowledge of company guidelines, processes, practices and procedures.Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools with regards to our systems and troubleshooting for our products.Work actively to manage both internal and external relationships.Full Mandate to act within the set Logistics Planning Processes.

Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of Logistics experienceStrong Excel skills (PowerBI, Pivot Tables, V-lookups)Freight, airline knowledge, ocean experience Excellent phone contact and e-mail writing skillsKnowledge of relational databasesAbility to work with parallel tasks, prioritize and follow throughDeliver results and meet customer expectationsPlan and organize work tasks and time accurately and efficientTake initiative and make decisions within given authorizationsVery strong analytical thinking and very high knowledge of MS Office 365 (in particular Excel & Power BI).Achieves personal work goals and objectivesAbility to manage both internal- and external contact points

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
