JOB PURPOSE:
Robust logistics processes are the building blocks of efficient supply chain operation. This role ensures flawless logistics performance by resolving operational system issues and maintaining stock controlling tasks. A large part of the role also entails looking at improvement possibilities within the network.
The warehouse and distribution activities require strong HSE & quality processed therefore the ideal candidate is able to ensure a safe working environment following HSE and QA regulations.
As part of the role you will be required to understand and be able to execute critical daily repack tasks as a back-up for the Logistics and Repack Team Lead.
This role requires the capability and experience to manage 3 PL partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regularly assess capacity vs demand and lead action planning to close the gaps
Provide daily operational support in Warehouse & Distribution operation to ensure on time, complete and accurate delivery
Responsible for managing logistics operational task with key stakeholders e.g.: stock booking and resolving ad-hoc operational issues
First point of contact of Customer Service/Planning/Repack team at technical/process issues inbound/outbound
Support logistics projects with detailed and appropriate data analysis
Maintain monthly /quarterly logistics cost & efficiency reporting
Maintain and create Business Process Manuals and other process documentation
Manage monthly stock reconciliation process as well as coordinate the annual inventory counts
Leads the annual safety & quality assessments and ensure action plan completion
Logistics operational task:
Handling interface issues (missing messages, bookings when interface is not working) between SAP and 3PL WMS
Overseeing EKAER registration operational issues
Overseeing and performing Stock Controlling operational tasks
Short term issue resolution, working with projects and action plans over a 3 – 12 months horizon
Process management:
Collect Unilever (UL) and Third-Party Logistics Provider (3PLP) needs/requirements and harmonize the process changes and actions within UL and 3PLP operations in case of logistics projects
Ensure that customer requirements regarding warehousing and distribution are met
Implementing new process improvements and optimizations
Knowledge Sharing:
Collaborate with the European communities -representing CZSK region in Key User Network as local key user. Collects and shares best practices from a network of EE Key Users
Provide daily operational support in Warehouse & Distribution operation to ensure on time, complete and accurate delivery
Repack execution backup:
Support the weekly production planning routine and execute repacking activities with 3PLs
Collect input and give own data to the weekly production planning routine
Communicate and resolve capacity conflicts with 3PL
Optimize production plan (CCFOT, obsoletes, service fee)
Manage repacking activities in SAP (e.g. ordering components, request product costing)
Keep control of material flows and stocks related to repacking activities
Review the stock of components (packaging and gifts) on a regular basis, and propose write-off of obsolete items
Manage purchase to pay process for repacking services and packaging components
Follow up repack production plan with 3PLP
Reporting:
Data mining to drive efficiency initiatives
Maintaining regular reports on repack activities, service, cost & related savings
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:
University Degree in Supply Chain or related field (Management, Economics)
2 years of experience in Supply Chain field
Analytical skills
Good communication and collaboration skills
Good problem-solving skills
SAP / Pega knowledge
Knowledge of internal control regulations
Native Czech & communicative English is a must
