Logistics Representative

**CTG is seeking to fill a Logistics Representative opening for our client in Pittsburgh, PA.**
**Location:** Pittsburgh, PA
**Duration:** 12 months
**Pay Rate:** $25.00/hour
**Duties:**
This position is responsible for tendering bulk shipments and managing the change process for plants, customers, and bulk carriers. It involves direct coordination with order management, production facilities, and carrier dispatch to ensure efficient movement of goods and equipment balance for customer deliveries and stock transfers.
Additionally, this role supports package highway and multimodal logistics operations, working with a 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) provider on transportation, loading, unloading, and related logistics tasks.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Monitor daily activities at assigned 3rd party facilities across the US and Canada to ensure timely and accurate shipment of goods.
+ Complete inbound and outbound inventory transactions using SAP ERP.
+ Troubleshoot issues at facilities and coordinate resolutions.
+ Maintain inventory and asset accuracy in compliance with established policies.
+ Develop, modify, and audit operational procedures for warehouses and bulk terminals.
+ Train and support 3PL personnel on logistics procedures and systems.
+ Participate in physical inventory audits and lead internal cycle count processes.
+ Ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices based on operational contracts and purchase orders.
+ Assign bulk transportation shipments and manage order changes using SAP and a transportation management system.
+ Collaborate with internal departments to maintain equipment balance and support shipping operations.
+ Provide backup support across Warehousing, Bulk Terminal, and Transportation Operations as needed.
**Skills:**
+ Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities.
+ Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced logistics environment.
+ Proficiency in logistics systems, especially SAP ERP and transportation management software.
**Experience:**
+ 2–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
**Education:**
+ BA/BS in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related technical field, or
+ High school diploma with 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
