LOGISTICS SPECIALIST (Contract Full-time) - This is an 18-month contract site based opportunity. Serves as the central point of contact for all project logistics activities, ensuring coordination and control of delivery logistics. 

Employment Status: Independent Contractor
Site Location: Northern BC (Chartered flight from flight hub available) 
Rotation Schedule: 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
Working Hours: 12 hour-shift

Qualifications: Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Logistics. At least 8 years' experience in setup of logistics function and for executing all logistics activities in heavy industry facilities. 10+ years' experience in providing strategic logistics planning, manage logistics services agreements, and implement initiatives to reduce costs, mitigate risks, and optimize operations. Demonstrated expertise in procurement, field material management, and logistics. At least 5 years of experience supporting projects of similar size, scope, and complexity. Minimum of 2 consecutive years of supervisory experience in logistics or transportation operations. Effective communication skills with various stakeholders, including management, co-workers, vendors, and contractors. Strong attention to detail and efficiency. Proven experience in implementing process improvement models.
