Then come in and join our Indonesia team as a Logistics Specialist. This role directly reports to the Factory Manager.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Inbound and Outbound You will dispatch customer orders/primary requirements and where necessary creates or adjusts production orders or production-synchronous call-off orders [to production] to ensure 100% supply to customers, taking due account of production resources and processes, and to safeguard on-time delivery of the customer order. You will monitor the stock levels and coverage of finished goods and corrective action if necessary to achieve optimum inventory levels with due regard to the Total Cost approach. You will measure compliance with the delivery quantities and deadlines to initiate proactive measures for optimizing delivery reliability in good time. You will control external supply centers to guarantee customer supply with optimum inventory levels and at minimal transport costs. You will work on implementation of EDI and Web EDI requests in collaboration with EDI management and OI to actively shape the flow of information across the company. You will work on the design of logistics and transport concepts with the customer in cooperation with logistics process planning, packaging planning and transport handling to safeguard the delivery process and minimize process costs. You will monitor the delivery dates and dispatching/invoicing for finished goods in good time to ensure timely dispatch and delivery reliability to the customer and a corresponding value flow. You will work on start-up and phase-out project teams to ensure a timely start-up and phase-out of finished goods. You will maintain basic and master data in the delivery area to guarantee the data quality in all relevant logistics systems. Delivering You will work on customer inquiries and if necessary, create offers for the customer (preliminary technical clarification, commercial clarification incl. creditworthiness, export control checks, determination of delivery dates, reservation of inventory and if applicable manufacturing capacities, information regarding offer validity) to create the prerequisites for closing a contract. You will enter customer orders in the ERP system and determines the delivery dates (technical clarification, commercial clarification incl. creditworthiness, export control checks, Checking of delivery dates and confirmation, order confirmation to the customer) to fulfill the customer order at the requested date. You will monitor order related compliance of the delivery dates and quantities to initiate proactive measures for optimizing delivery reliability in good time and to be always capable to provide [order] information. You will coordinate invoicing to the customer quickly, performing the related post calculation, controlling order cost receipt, and utilizing the possibilities of additional charges to optimize the value flow and show a correct margin. You will work on the design of logistics and transport concepts with the customer in cooperation with logistics process planning, packaging planning and transport handling to safeguard the delivery process and minimize process costs. Your qualifications and experiences: You have at least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management for medical device You have working experience in a cross-country/cross-cultural organization (preferred) You hold a successfully completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Electromedical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent.
