Temp-to-Hire position$19.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:30am to 04:00pm)Duties:
Maintain customer profile information and enter loads for customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer systemUpdate account managers on problem load and what actions have been taken: update receivers and customer on status of loadsMonitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify that loads have arrived on time and in good conditionTake check calls from drivers; ensuring that loads will deliver on time; validate all load data prior to marking loads delivered, for accounting purposesInvestigate product overages, shortages, damages, and complete appropriate documentationSchedule and reschedule delivery appointmentsProvide detailed directions and instructions to route driversWork with a team to accomplish goalsLogistics Specialist Qualifications:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
1 year of logistics experienceGeneral knowledge of the transportation industryExperience writing routine reports and correspondenceThe ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram formApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
