This roles mission statement is to Ensure the right part is delivered to the right place at the right time at an optimal cost This contributes to maintaining strong delivery characteristics with a regional viewpoint in order to support smooth production operations across North American manufacturing facilities ensuring customer satisfaction. \nUnder limited supervision responsible for managing carrier delivery performance in addition to other duties not specified but required for production and/or other core business activities. \nParticipates in broad scope projects and handles complex transportation situations. \n \n Approach to job: \n Collaborate with Suppliers Carriers SCM Operations SCM Packaging to ensure a smooth supply chain flow. \n Minimize redundancy and out of route miles \n Proactively review routes to ensure smooth flow inbound and outbound \n Seeks to identify methods to improve routing efficiency and remove waste for the supply chain \n Improve efficiency of HSP transportation network. \nPerform ESC analysis to understand root cause and establish countermeasure \n \nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES \nList the key accountabilities that must be carried out to fulfil the job purpose. of time \nEnsure delivery performance targets are met. Complete timely reporting of delivery progression achieve cost reduction targets perform root cause analysis/countermeasure implementation to solve complex problems w/ attention to closure speed and effectiveness - 40 \n Strive for continuous improvement through cycling Plan Do Check Action PDCA for area of responsibility. Associate must work cross functionally to expand knowledge of all areas within the supply chain - 10 \n Support company vision through Business Plan KPI and other Business Unit initiatives in areas of knowledge and technical expertise. Expand knowledge of transportation to SCM operations Packaging and Delivery team - 10 \n Lead situation appraisal and analysis of carrier performance. Conduct Lead meetings with carriers to develop and implement improvement plans - 10 \n Support the carriers in development and implementation of real-time EDI/GPS reporting - 5 \n Meet Business Plan cost and delivery targets as per the BP schedule. Ensure all project activity is being completed accurately and to schedule - 10 \n Perform route bid evaluation and make sourcing recommendations - 15

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
