As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Managing and monitoring the Daily Shipping Report to ensure on time delivery.
Managing courier selection and creation of Airway Bills for parcel sized shipments prior to daily collection (best cost / lead time)
Co-ordinating shipments by liaising with customer contacts, channel partners and assigned Freight Forwarders to arrange collection to their instruction
Sales Order transaction activity in ERP system
Auditing of export entries and manage entry amendments where required
Holding management – Regular management of orders on hold, driving Customer Care representatives to conclude on holds to allow shipment
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a broad understanding of incoterms and customs procedures in an FCA focused role (Customs, Logistics, Trade Compliance or Shipping)
Have experience using Harmonized Tariff codes or Classifications (Outside of EU would be highly advantageous to your application)
Demonstrate knowledge of import / export obligations and International Trade Control
Have experience of application of and use of Transport Management System (receptive to all)
Demonstrate knowledge of hazardous shipment process & arrangement of hazardous shipments
Possess excellent communication skills; due to the functions, departments, customs and varying data you will be working with
Have a qualification in Supply Chain, Trade Compliance, or Logistics Management (this is not a requirement, but useful to have)
Be fluent in English and eligible to work in Ireland, holding an Irish Passport/work permit with no requirement for future sponsorship
