Logistics Specialist ( Fixed - Term)
Job Description

You will become a part of the Local Logistics Team. The key role will be to organize the day-to-day operations of various aspects, including door-to-door international shipping and import/export, tracking shipments, and cooperating with freight carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Additionally, you will resolve delivery-related customer service issues and ensure that logistics processes comply with applicable regulations.

The Logistics Specialist reports to the Logistics Manager. The office is located in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. We are currently looking for maternity cover for this position.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

As a Logistics Specialist, you are responsible to understand business needs, propose and create optimized solutions on the global One ERP platform, based on SAP.

Identification and resolution of problems related to the area of operation, Improving existing processes, Organizing transport from preferred logistics operators, Monitoring the timeliness, quality and payment of transport services, Handling complaints related to transport, including enforcing payments from transport insurance policies, Searching for root causes and solving problems in cooperation with carriers, business partners and the logistics organization, Preparation of import & export documentation and supervision of the correctness of customs clearance carried out by customs agencies, Participation in local, regional and global logistics projects. The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

Bachelor’s degree in logistics or in a similar field is required. At least 2 years of experience in Logistics, Knowledge of the SAP TMS & GTS system will be an asset, Knowledge of INCOTERMS and CMR convention rules, Service mindset with operational excellence, Result-oriented, motivated, and a self-starter, with a desire to work with a team, A Problem-solver with analytical skills, Fluent in both Polish and English.
