ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Work at the division level and assist with property management and maintenance tasks. This task includes over 3,415 property items located in 26 buildings covering four separate test areas.

• Inventory management (over 3,415 items valued at over $23.4M), inventory completion (monthly, quarterly, and annually), calibration management (615 items), turn in of excess property, property transfers, Motor Pool operations that includes both maintenance and load test functions (445 items), GSA leased and customer owned vehicle management, receiving new property (barcoding and adding to property database), receiving all shipments (both physically and in the SharePoint work flow), serve as the S6 POC for all computer and cell phone transactions, and monthly logistics reports.
• Responsible for managing the Customer's Property database, Auto Scan Tracking System (ASTS), and Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A).
• Other duties as assigned.

 

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSURE:


• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working within the area of unit supply operations, large inventory maintenance, property management, administration, and Army equipment calibration.
• Possess knowledge of inventory management, shipping, receiving, transportation, storage, turn-in, property accountability, and supply procedures and regulations.
• Must be familiar with AR 735-5 for the purposes of accountability and calibration.
• Shall have a demonstrated knowledge of the Army calibration system and have a working understanding of current IT as applied to property accountability.

 

Preferred Education and Experience:


• Knowledge of Army Regulation (AR) 710-2, Supply Policy Below the National Level; and, AR 735-5, Property Accountability Policies.
• Prior Army service in the logistics field.
• Experience using Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A).

WORK ENVIRONMENT:


A professional office in which typical office equipment and information technology is used; indoor and outdoor test and evaluation support facilities; and outdoor equipment and vehicles storage facilities.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


The physical demands described must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of the job – able to:  see, hear, and speak; lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds; sit for extended time; and use a personal computer keyboard, mouse, and other peripheral devices. 

 

TRAVEL:


None.

 

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE:


DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.  U.S. Citizenship is required.

 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS: 


Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.
