Logistics Specialist II

Are you looking for an opportunity to use your inventory and supply chain skills in a variety of specialty areas? Come join us! As a Logistics Specialist II, you prepare our logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. You'll be responsible for routing, documenting, and coordinating shipping logistics, maintaining our records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals, and tracking logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of our storage facilities. You'll coordinate shipping activities which adhere to state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements.

The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Qualifications You Must Have:

High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experienceA higher level degree may substitute for experienceRelated experience may be considered in lieu of required educationBasic Microsoft Word and Excel skillsBasic understanding of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniquesExperience with inventory databases

Qualifications We Prefer:

Ability to operate a ForkliftExperience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPSUnderstanding of Shelf Life
