Roles and Responsibilities
Leads/supports safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with all laws, rules, and regulations regarding the transportation of goodsHas knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the marketCommunicate with suppliers to schedule deliveries and resolve any issues.Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with delivery schedules and quality standards.Track shipments and proactively address any delays or discrepancies.Ensure proper documentation for all inbound shipments.Coordinate with warehousing and production teams to ensure accurate inventory receiving and storage.Optimize inventory flow to reduce holding costs.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inbound logistics efficiency and reduce costs.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to inbound logistics.Resolve logistical problems quickly and efficiently.Work with suppliers and carriers to find solutions to delivery issues.Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience
Desired Characteristics
The base pay range for this position is 74,400.00 - 99,200.00 - 124,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for performance bonus of 10%
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
