The Logistics Specialist performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, tools, supplies and equipment. Provides internal and external customer service and support through email, phone calls, chats, etc.
Essential Functions are:

+ Promote company Core Values to foster and safeguard Company culture.
+ Performs receiving process, product knowledge and quality standards.
+ Escalation points of contact for logistics at the site.
+ Maintain material inventory.
+ Provide coordinator support for field technicians making sure they have the materials, equipment and tools they need.
+ Perform cycle counts on a monthly basis to ensure inventory level accuracy and physical inventory yearly.
+ Interacts with customer contacts, business partners, and internal staff to meet customer needs.
+ Process all related reports including as needed and directed.
+ Maintain a tracker of all equipment and tools along with tracking calibration dates for equipment.
+ Oversee the calibration of equipment to ensure crews have enough because of equipment to stay on schedule.
+ Routinely inspect all the equipment and tools to ensure the crew are maintaining the equipment to the standards needed.
+ Oversee the return of equipment upon the completion of the use of that equipment. Verify physical inventory for purchase orders or RMAs (returns) and communicate discrepancies to purchasing agent.
+ Able to work independently in an off-site warehouse to support customer needs.
+ Ability and willingness to drive a 26’ box truck or willingness to be trained

+ Proficient in using a computer and business / industry applications - Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
+ Ability to stand on your feet all day and to be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Education/Experience Requirements:
+ High School Diploma, or equivalent
+ 2-5 years of logistics experience and inventory knowledge
+ Safety training and certificates and EPA/Hazmat Training may be required
