Responsibilities and Duties
1. Orders, receives, stores, transports, and issues materials;
2. Prepares all necessary papers in connection therewith; and
3. Is thoroughly familiar with stores routine and account procedures.
4. Performs and/or directs the operation [Foreman] of a storeroom.
5. Must be very familiar with stores and accounting procedures.
6. Must keep accurate records of declared hazardous materials, perform testing procedures, and review the test results following specific company and federal rules.

• Responsible for storage of materials and equipment
• Receives, issues and returns material and equipment in storerooms and yards or other locations where material may be temporarily stored
• Inventories incoming materials to verify receipt of items on requisitions or invoices
• Fills orders or issues supplies from stock
• Conducts periodic and special inventories of materials
• Transports material to other departments or storerooms using hand trucks, forklifts, or industrial vehicles
• Verifies stock numbers and voltage types and Equipment to job site
• Transports material and equipment to job site
• Takes oil samples from transformers and other electrical devices for PCB testing, marks PCB test results on oil filled equipment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.
• High School Diploma, GED, or proof of equivalent.
• 2+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. - Demonstrated ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Must have a Class A CDL.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Knowledge of Spreadsheet software; Inventory software; Email software and Database software (ex: MS Excel, Word, Outlook, etc).
• Employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
