About The Role

The Logistics Supervisor will direct and control the inbound and outbound flow of materials to the Kwinana site. The logistics Supervisor will need to lead the warehouse function including direct supervision of dispatch operators and any additional contractors required to fulfil the function.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee Operations by managing daily warehouse and logistic activities, management of all storage, traffic and movements on site and maintain OTIF as per regional requirements.Ensure compliance with company polices, industry regulations and safety standards. You will need to manage requirements for segregation and compliance with Dangerous Goods storage and handling.Lead operations to meet or exceed departmental standards.Day to day supervision of a small warehouse team while building a positive team environment with proper training and support.Prepare and provide necessary reports for management.Conduct performance reviews for all direct reports.Implement continuous improvement opportunities.Adapt logistic strategies to meet changing business needs.Manage inventory to meet operational needs and company targets.Contribute to developing and implementing work procedures.Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.

Demonstrated experience in a purchasing role Experienced in SAP Demonstrated superior level of interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain high level of accuracy in data entry Demonstrated high level of communication skillsAn initiative, pro-active individual with a can-do attitudeA team playerAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills – advantageous
