What’s the role

As Logistics Support, you will control and process invoices from logistics contractors in the SLING logistics planning system to enable payments. You will assist the Planner for Chemical Supply and Fluids, manage stock levels in SAP and handle booking of stock for the replenishment of chemical supplies to various NAM locations. Additionally, you will control the invoice processing for chemical supply in SAP.

You will ensure that safety, environmental, cost and performance standards are being met; whilst continuously improving safety, environmental, efficiency and delivery performance. You will ensure the whole invoicing process is delivered on time and smooth manner. You will execute the administration of the planning cell and support the different planners on administrative level, each with their specific area of expertise.

Your main task will include processing the actuals from different logistics contractors in the SLING (NAM Integrated Logistics System) and make final Service entry upload sheet into SAP for payment purposes. You will also upload the ERS (Electronic Receipt Settlements) back into SLING for outstanding orders purposes, assuring all bookings of the delivered chemicals are accounted for to the different locations as well as booking the new stock in SAP.

Manage stock levels and chemical bookings in SAPRegularly coordinate with operations staff on the use of production chemicalsRegularly align with Chemical Fluids planner on the availability of production chemicals in stockCoordinate with contract holders of production chemicals on supply chain issuesProcess invoices for Chemical SupplyInclude required order dates and expected costs in Logistics SLING systemReceive and check invoices and timesheets from logistics contractors and create payments through SAPUpload lists with all deliveries into SAP to enable paymentsCoordinate with finance administrators of logistics contractors on invoiced servicesPlan and carry out financial spot-checks on delivered services by contractorsTemporarily act as planner for other logistics disciplines (Industrial Cleaning, Waste, Road, Fluids, Lifting and Hoisting and Chemical supply) as needed
