As a Logistics Specialist, you’ll be joining an elite team of subject matter experts supporting Military Sealift Command’s Data Management Support Team providing a full range of Data Management services to ships operating worldwide.
What you’ll get to do:
Research and prepare logistics related briefing papers, presentations, and point papersResearch and prepare assessment reports for outfitting.Develop draft ships lifecycle administrative reports.Develop validation plans and reports; and perform required shipboard validations.Review shipbuilder data submittals for completeness and accuracy; and draft review comments.Review system drawings against configuration baselines and prepare report of findings.Review shipbuilder configuration baselines against the MSC baseline and report findings.Perform sample physical inventories and report findings.Assist in performing quality assurance reviews of ship initialization and incremental data files for incorporation into the MSC Corrective Maintenance Logistics System (CMLS).Develop new Allowance Parts Listings and Allowance Equipage Listings.Perform analysis, maintenance and correction on equipment, configuration, and parts data for the MSC Fleet.Process data files for external sources.Perform database quality assurance and required updates.Generate standardized and AD-HOC reports to support MSC operations.Additionally, you get to:

The proposed salary range for this position is:
