Role: Logistics Support Specialist Job Summary: We seek a logistics professional to manage drayage operations, coordinate with providers, maintain rate quotes, manage shipping documentation and notifications, and support our transportation management system. Key Responsibilities: + Coordinate and manage freight forwarding operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of shipments. + Assist in preparing shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, Delivery Order. + Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to provide updates on shipment status. + Monitor and track shipments, addressing any issues that arise during transit. + Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency. + Maintain accurate records and databases related to shipments and logistics activities. + Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies and best practices. Qualifications: + Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management. + Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, documentation. + Proficient in logistics software, TMS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
