Responsibilities include: The Air Force Program Execution Office (AFPEO/HB) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to manage and execute the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO Information Dominance System Center portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies. AFIDSC is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA with geographically separated operating units CONUS and OCONUS. **Responsibilities:** + Coordinate, conduct, and manage the logistics activities with the Government TOMA + Provide Technical Data Support Services (TDSS) required for the sustainment of technical data + Advise on the acquisition, sustainment, and preparation of technical data such as technical order documents and engineering data + Provide support in documenting any changes or revisions to all TOs and other documents that may be impacted by a modification or safety issue + Identify errors within technical manuals and engineering drawings and recommend solutions for correction. + Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and other technical data to perform detailed analysis on assigned systems and equipment + Provide expert technical advice and recommendations during design reviews and conferences + Review programmatic documents and provide input as necessary to the design features, changes in equipment reliability, logistics supportability features, identification of technical requirements and estimation of costs + Participate in guidance and provisioning conferences, depot maintenance, depot activation decisions, and system engineering meetings in establishing the nature and level of maintenance, replacement factors, source codes, Expandability, Reparability, Recoverability Code codes and type and quantity of supporting spares, tools and test equipment + Make recommendations concerning Air Force items that may be substituted for contractor developed equipment + Read, comprehend, and utilize Air Force TOs, associated military specifications, governing and policy documents + Assist with development of contractual documents such as Technical Manual Contract Requirements (TCMR) to govern acquisition of technical orders and evaluate delivered products for complianceSupport publishing and delivering Air Force technical orders and Country Standard Technical Orders in both paper and electronic formatsDevelop funding requirements for technical order sustainment IAW DoD and Air Force budgeting processes + Accomplish requisition and distribution changes received from Technical Order Distribution Offices (TODO) + Assign TO numbers as required to support new equipment/software + Correct TO discrepancies + Post revisions/changes to TO’s and Libraries + Provide for print formatting in technical order creation and ensure changes are reflected in/with distribution interface + Review technical data change package (TDP) for accuracy, and change records for insertion into TO data library maintenance + Will perform other duties as assigned **Minimum Required Qualifications:** + Must be a U.S. Citizen + Hold a current Secret security clearance + Bachelor's degree + Must have experience with Technica Order Management Agency (TOMA) support + Knowledge of how and why Air Force TOs are inter-related and how a TCTO may affect several different manuals + Experience in technical publication and experience in dealing with all aspects of technical data to include acquisitions, editorial, and printing and distribution + Experience in coordinating with manufacturers, engineers, equipment specialists, program managers, and other stakeholders + Knowledge of the Air Force 00 series technical orders, applicable MIL-Standards, the Joint Computer-Aided Acquisition and Logistics Support (JCALS) System and the Comprehensive Air Force Technical Order Plan (CAFTOP) system + Experience with technical order management within the DoD, and with TO systems to include, or similar to, Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS)/ Reliability & Maintainability Information System (REMIS) and TCTO Systems, Joint Computer-Aided Acquisition and Logistics Support (JCALS), Enhanced Technical Information Management System (ETIMS), Comprehensive Integrated Technical Order Management System (CITOMS), SATODS, Defense Repair Information Logistics System (DRILS), D043A, and Reliability, Availability, Maintainability Logistic Support System for Pods (RAMPOD) data bases All positions at Applied Research Solutions are subject to background investigations.
