Responsibilities

Operate courier systems to prepare package address labels, invoices and other associated documentation correctly, professionally and in a timely mannerMaintain all shipping machines address databanks and verifying the information utilizing QLIMSQC all shipping documentation prior to shippingcheck shipments against manifestMonitor inventory level of shipping supplies and notifying supervisor when minimum operating levels have been metEnsure that all paperwork generated by photocopying is done in a quality manner to provide a professional appearanceMaintain a clean and orderly work area

Minimum required education and experience

High School Diploma or equivalent1 year of related shipping and receiving experience in a distribution center setting working with multiple small package shipping companies.Experience working in small package distributionExperience working with multiple small package shipping companies (i.e. FedEx, DHL, UPS, USPS)Domestic shipping experience required, international shipping experience highly preferred

Required knowledge, skills and abilities

Good communication and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented, thorough, and well-organized.Basic computer skills.Ability to grasp general concepts of import/export regulations.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $30,500.00 - $50,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
