Job Description

Entry level position that provides opportunity for advancement based on success. Heavy focus on international airfreight and includes basic warehouse activities/inventory management. Strong training program available to develop skillset with leading global logistics provider.

*Position Hours are 11am-8pm Monday-Friday

Timely and professional communication with clients and offices through high volume of email, phone, instant message, and in person.Tracking and tracing of freightPreparation of quotes to clientsClient notification of shipment delays, missing cargo, damaged freightEnsure accurate and timely data entry into our operations systemEnsure accurate and timely client billingEnsure compliance at all times to regulationsDispatch freightMonitor reportsContribute to maintaining strong vendor relationships - airlines, trucking companies, and othersMeet key performance indicators in support of department, branch, product, and company goalsDesire to understand overall department process flow and constantly seek opportunities for improved efficiencyEscalation of problems to Management when necessary

QualificationsAssociates or Bachelors Degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredCustomer Service: 6 months to 1 year experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredEffective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive resultsPro-active, strong organizational skillsStrong desire to learnGood computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Basic US/Global Geography Fluent in English

Additional Information

Expected base salary: $22/hr to $24/hr

May be eligible for bonus following first year of continuous employment in position.
