Job Summary:

Huntersville Health & Rehabilitation Center in Huntersville, North Carolina is seeking a compassionate and skilled Long-Term Care Beautician to provide beauty and grooming services to our residents. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the unique needs of seniors and be committed to enhancing their well-being through personal care and grooming.

Key Responsibilities: Perform a variety of beauty services, including haircuts, hairstyling, manicures, and pedicures. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents during beauty services. Tailor services to accommodate the individual preferences and needs of residents, including those with limited mobility or health conditions. Maintain accurate records of services provided and any resident preferences. Collaborate with nursing and activity staff to schedule services and participate in resident care plans. Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with residents and their families. Stay updated on beauty trends and techniques, including any special accommodations for senior care. Qualifications: Valid cosmetology or beautician license in NC. Experience working with seniors or in long-term care settings preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate and patient demeanor with a focus on resident well-being. Work Schedule: Minimum of one day per week, with the possibility of additional hours based on demand.
