**The ro** **le you’ll contribute:**
The Loss Control and Workers' Compensation Manager provides consultative resources for the HR Leadership team and FH Management team in the areas of work-related employee health and safety issues. Supervises staff of loss control coordinators and workers' compensation specialists. Actively participates in outstanding customer care standards and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

· Ensure compliance with all FL Statute 440 & OSHA regulations.
· Manages Loss Control Coordinators & Workers’ Compensation Specialist through HR Support Services, including hiring, firing, retention and disciplinary procedures.
· Responsible for all HR policies related to Employee Health & Safety.
· Strategically partners with HRBPs on analyzing related metrics and data and leads out in developing process improvement plans.
· Serves as liaison between FH and outside Legal defense counsel on strategic plans for claims handling
· Develops training materials and education plans related to FH Loss Control and W/C claims handling
· Serves as active member of FH multidisciplinary committees, including Physical Environment Committee, Infection Prevention Committee and Safety Committees
· Partners with service line Leadership teams to develop process improvement plans related to Employee Health and Safety
Qualifications
**T** **he expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:**
· Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field OR Seven years equivalent work experience Required
· Knowledge of State of Florida 440 Statute; OSHA regulations
· Ability to conduct oneself professionally, maintaining confidence and confidentiality
· Proficient at Microsoft Office
· Ability to communicate effectively and organize daily activities.
· Claims handling experience
· State of Florida Workers’ Compensation Adjustor license and/or All Lines
