Job Summary
Reporting to the Loss Prevention Supervisor, ON1, the LP Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining user access and incident response in the ON1 DC. This is an on-site full-time position at our Distribution Centre in Brampton, ON. The LP Coordinator will help manage the internal LP mailbox and proactively train employees to embrace a culture of preventing loss within our Distribution Centre. This role will support in developing and tracking LP key performance indicators around theft, fraud, workplace incidents and provide analytical support to identify loss through reports. The LP Coordinator will support the Loss Prevention Department with internal investigations and ensure key policy and procedures are followed within the distribution network. This role will support in creating standard operating procedures that ensure the safety of our ACEs and buildings.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Safety – Operate in a way to ensure the safety of our ACEs, DPLs and physical locations.Compassion – Communicate and act from the heart with genuine care and courtesy.Expertise – Provide knowledge in an understanding and informative way.Efficiency – Use time and resources responsibly in the field and in-home office.Assist in maintenance and user access of Loss Prevention equipment (CCTV, Intrusion, Access Control)Greeting visitors, assisting them with the Visitor Management System and contacting their hostReviewing CCTV and reporting any odditiesCreating, altering and deactivating access cardsProcess invoices & accruals related to security equipment for Distribution Centres and support stores LP Coordinator as needed.Supporting the DC Loss Prevention and Operations Departments with administrative tasksMonitor Loss Prevention mailbox for Distribution Centres Support with key management & physical safety audits Support in training Distribution Centre staff on Loss prevention policy & procedure Assist in scheduling third party guard services Other duties as assigned.*A clear criminal record is required for this position, a background will be conducted.
Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications
High School Diploma (or equivalent) requiredExcellent prioritization and analytical skills Strong attention to detail Organizational skills Demonstrated ability to work independently 1+ years of Loss Prevention experience Experience navigating security equipment such as intrusion, access control, and CCTV systems. (Hikvision, Avigilon, Bosch, DSC experience an asset) Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ability to work weekends when required. Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) is essential Experience with processing invoices considered an asset
