Transdev in Englewood, Colorado is hiring a Lot Supervisor. The Lot Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all vehicles are 
prepared for service. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate job requirements and responsibilities to drivers.Supervise operator pre-trip inspectionsAssign vehicles to operators and update dispatchers to confirm informationAssist with miscellaneous clerical tasksResponsible for collecting and retaining DVIRsChecking Operator numbers and ID badgesAssisting DispatchStarting coaches for the facilityOccasionally dispatching replacement buses/operators for vehicles involved in accidents or incidents and buses and operators for special servicesAssist with ensuring schedule complianceAssist with ensuring that all routes are covered utilizing appropriate vehicles, personnel, equipment and informationMake optimal use of company operating systems for the purpose of monitoring, dispatching, and improving on street service to the customersAssist (as needed) with the investigation of accidents, unusual occurrences, and complaints for the purpose of filing appropriate reports as well as providing direction for the futureGenerate accurate operational records for the purpose of reporting and analysisMaintains professional demeanor and appearanceHandle multiple tasks accurately and effectively in a fast paced environmentOther duties as assigned to ensure the efficient operation of the department

 

Qualifications: 

High school diploma, GED, or equivalentMust be a minimum of 19 years of age Availability to work, day, evening, weekend and overnight shifts as assignedAbility to learn how to check for proper completion of DVIRAble to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionallyHave a strong commitment to customer service and safetyMinimum 2 years of valid driver license (personal or professional)  You must present a state DMV report verifying a 36-month driving record without a serious moving violation. (Some additional restrictions apply)Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondenceMust complete and sign the Transdev employment application in its entirety.Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.


Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed 
outside, work alone and in remote locations. 
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible 
sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 
50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at 
ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable 
amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
