**Job Title: Travel Low Voltage Installer** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing low voltage electronic systems, which may include video surveillance, intrusion detection, access control, intercom, fire detection, data/communications, audio/visual, or other systems. You will also program and test these systems post-installation to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, enabling efficient job site operations and minimizing return trips. **Responsibilities** + Install low voltage electronic systems such as video surveillance, intrusion detection, access control, intercom, fire detection, data/communications, and audio/visual systems. + Program and test electronic systems post-installation to ensure they meet customer requirements. + Utilize problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues on the job site. + Travel to various job sites, including prevailing wage jobs. + Maintain high standards of quality and customer service. **Essential Skills** + Manufacturer certification in one or more major electronic security subsystems. + Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in the installation, programming, and testing of electronic systems in a commercial/industrial environment. + Experience with installing systems on government sites. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Manufacturer training in all three major subsystems on major brands (CCTV, intrusion detection, and access control) is preferred. + Experience with hand tools, power tools, and blueprints. + Knowledge of structured cabling, active vehicle barriers, and general labor in construction. **Why Work Here?** Join a Veteran-Owned Small Business that emphasizes employee development. The position includes two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch break. Optional overtime is available. You will work on consistent projects at Ellsworth Air Force Base for 6-14 months, with opportunities for travel work. About 80% of work involves travel, while 20% is local to Colorado Springs.
