**Job Title: Low Voltage Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Low Voltage Electrician to join our team. This role involves leading, training, and managing a crew of 1-2 individuals, with the ability to work independently when required. The work encompasses residential and commercial fit-outs, new construction, and service projects. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position, providing an opportunity for both the client and candidate to ensure the fit works best for both parties.
**Responsibilities**
+ Lead, train, and manage a crew of 1-2 individuals.
+ Work independently if needed.
+ Read and interpret blueprints.
+ Troubleshoot electrical systems.
+ Plan layouts and installations.
+ Install, repair, and troubleshoot electrical and security systems.
+ Install and test CAT5e, CAT6, Fiber Optic, Coaxial, and various low voltage cabling.
+ Terminate fiber and copper cabling according to industry standards.
+ Install limited energy cabling infrastructure, enterprise-wide access controls systems, IP CCTV systems, wireless networks, and intrusion detection systems.
+ Install, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems including light fixtures, switches, alarms, and panel boxes.
+ Familiarity with various types of pipe from metal (RMC, GRC, IMC, EMT) to non-metal (RNC, RTRC, PVC, ENT).
+ Perform rough-in to finished work.
+ Conduct trenching and site work.
+ Communicate effectively with field and office personnel.
+ Maintain a strong focus on safety.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00
