Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for developing relationships with our Select Guest members and act as a point of contact for them. To ensure the proper handling of all group rooms in the hotel.
ResponsibilitiesTo liaise with Front Office/ for details of groups, VIPs, Select Guest, promotions and packages. Communicate directly with guests, both in person and by telephone. Conduct guest room inspections prior to Select Guest arrivalsSchedule pre-arrival calls accordingly and spot checks proper executionCreate relationships with current and prospective Select Guest members and follow through with any complaints; act as the point of contact an communicate any needs to the Operations team.Create unique and personalized WOW moments at every opportunity.Lead training for new associates on the Select Guest programs as appropriate for each job function.Ensure entry of, manage, adjust and correct all assigned room blocks. Be the primary contact for groups on all VIP's, add/cancels, block adjustments.Daily review, research and process guaranteed no shows to verify billing and reinstatementsNotify DORM/CSM when room types are oversold and return booking notice to sales manager for corrections. Carry out all reasonable requests from management. Qualifications Excellent oral and communication skillsComputer proficiency and ability to multi task in a fast paced environmentExcellent knowledge of local community and surrounding areas. Excellent problem solving and communication skills.Must be able to work a flexible schedule.Must be able to operate Open Table, Go.Concierge, SpaSoft, Opera PMS, Delphi software programs. Must be able to multi-task and handle guest concerns according to a 5-diamond service level.
