Job Description
This position is responsible for developing relationships with our Select Guest members and act as a point of contact for them. To ensure the proper handling of all group rooms in the hotel.
Responsibilities
+ To liaise with Front Office/ for details of groups, VIPs, Select Guest, promotions and packages.
+ Communicate directly with guests, both in person and by telephone.
+ Conduct guest room inspections prior to Select Guest arrivals
+ Schedule pre-arrival calls accordingly and spot checks proper execution
+ Create relationships with current and prospective Select Guest members and follow through with any complaints; act as the point of contact an communicate any needs to the Operations team.
+ Create unique and personalized WOW moments at every opportunity.
+ Lead training for new associates on the Select Guest programs as appropriate for each job function.
+ Ensure entry of, manage, adjust and correct all assigned room blocks. Be the primary contact for groups on all VIP's, add/cancels, block adjustments.
+ Daily review, research and process guaranteed no shows to verify billing and reinstatements
+ Notify DORM/CSM when room types are oversold and return booking notice to sales manager for corrections.
+ Carry out all reasonable requests from management.
Qualifications
+ Excellent oral and communication skills
+ Computer proficiency and ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
+ Excellent knowledge of local community and surrounding areas.
+ Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
+ Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
+ Must be able to operate Open Table, Go.Concierge, SpaSoft, Opera PMS, Delphi software programs.
+ Must be able to multi-task and handle guest concerns according to a 5-diamond service level.
