LPCX Associate with Turkish (Data Privacy)
Job purpose:
Performing operational and recurring day-to-day tasks on data privacy legal matters, from a Regional Unit (LPCX Unit), within and across organizational boundaries. The jobholder will assess the respective requests originated by Business Units and Platform Functions in Bayer legal entities in the EMEA region and thus protect the assets and reputation of Bayer and ensure compliance with all applicable data privacy laws and regulations in the EMEA Region.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Provide advice on legal questions in the area of Data Privacy (e.g. (Management of: Processing Activities, Data Privacy (Impact) Assessments, Risk Mitigation, Data Subject Requests, Data Privacy Incidents), including advice on the correct interpretation of LPC related Bayer policiesManage Bayer’s Registry of Processing Activities for EMEA countries in cooperation with customers and stakeholdersProvide Data Privacy consultancy and perform all elements of the global Data Privacy Management System (DPMS) for operational handlingProvide advice on and negotiate data privacy agreementsSupport Third Party Data Privacy Due Diligence checks and approvals Support and monitor the roll out and participation in LPC driven web based trainings, support LPC driven communication campaigns and advise business and platform functions on organization and responsibilities within LPCFollow up on the development of legislation and standards of legal/compliance work in the EMEA Region for the assigned area of work and ensure application in daily work and implementation into processes and tools, as necessary Close cooperation with other data privacy experts within the group (locally, globally)Perform any other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor
Who you are:
Academic degree (Bachelor, Master) in Law, Compliance, Business Administration, IT, Information Security, or controlling / audit or related discipline English language on native speaking (C1/C2) or comparable level Turkish language on native speaking (C1/C2) levelA minimum of 1-3 years professional experience after graduation Good knowledge and understanding of EU General Data Protection Regulation and awareness of local and sector specific data privacy lawsWork experience in the area of data privacy, legal or compliance work from an international law firm or a multinational company desirableAdvanced communication and training skills, also vis-à-vis non-lawyersGoal-oriented, hands-on, proactive team player, Experienced in working with foreign cultures, ideally proven by time spent abroad, and with cross-functional teamsGood knowledge of Compliance Management SystemsAdvanced knowledge on data privacy or laws relevant to the health care or crop science industry desirableProcess and IT affinityProject management skillsGood knowledge of MS Office and knowledge in handling of management tools YOUR APPLICATION
