Triage incoming telephone, electronic, or faxed communication regarding prescription refill requestsAccurately process prescription refill requests as clinically appropriateCollaborate with various staff on specialty medication initiatives for the practiceCommunicate patient needs/requests to appropriate staff member (MD, APC, RN triage) and communicate treatment changes to patientProvide patient education for PCSK9 injectable medicationsDemonstrate compliance with CCHS and departmental policies and proceduresMaintain mandatory education and licensure requirementsTravel to additional office locations as neededEducation and Experience Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing requiredAt least 3 years of physician practice or clinical experience preferredAn equivalent combination of education and experience may be substitutedSpecial Requirements
