The Licensed Nurse @ The Cardinal provides high quality nursing services to community residents based on each resident’s individual service
plan and physician’s orders. Responsible for the delivery of quality care by encouraging independence
and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being.
Schedule: FT Monday - Friday 3pm - 11p & Every other weekend
Pay Range: $27/hr -$35/hr
Paid Vacation / Sick Time / 7 Paid Holidays

What will I do every day?
Monitor residents’ well-being in a general way and report any changes in condition to the appropriate associate/department immediatelyAssist residents with simple requests as needed or find an appropriate associate to assistLearn resident preferences for opportunities to provide exemplary customer service, exceed resident expectations and enhance resident satisfactionAssesses residents to identify their physical, psychosocial and environmental needs ofFollows all environmental and safety guidelines/standards per company policy and procedureIdentifies and recommends other disciplines needed for quality care of the residentDocuments evaluation of nursing interventions including resident responseAssesses resident and staff knowledge base of disease process, treatment regimen and/or medication administration and assist with care plansProvides resident care activities under the direction of the Care Services Director or Director of Nursing using current nursing standardsAssists with Medication Management ProgramPresent required new hire training and ongoing skills training for associates and maintain appropriate documentationSupports ongoing associate and peer recognition and appreciationSupport open and honest communication with and between all associatesWork as part of the team within your department and across the communityMaintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when workingLook for ways to reduce costs and create efficiencies on a daily basisEnsure regulatory compliance and report any issues or concerns immediatelyAdhere to all regulations, laws and Kisco standards, including the Associate HandbookSupport continuous improvementUnderstand and support the community sales processPerform other related duties as required
What will I need to be successful in this role?
Graduate of an accredited RN/LVN/LPN programOne-year or more experience as a nurse in a senior care setting preferredAssisted living and/or dementia experience preferred
Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?
Current active, unencumbered nursing license in the state of practiceBasic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applicationsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
