Job Description​

The Opportunity:

Anderson County Hospital in Garnett, KS is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for their Residential Living Center. This position provides professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices. You will be responsible for responsible for patient flow and coordination of patient care.

The Work: 

Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN. Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks. Coordinates the care of patients and consults other disciplines of the health care team as indicatedAdheres to all nursing policies and standards and proactively strives to maintain and improve quality outcomes  Facilitates patient care, anticipates patient care needs, individualizes patient care and adjusts or modifies the nursing plan of care as appropriate  Supports patient safety and patient satisfaction by performing regular patient rounds on the nursing unit and effectively communicating with all team members.

Job Requirements

Applicable Experience:

Less than 1 year

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Licensed Practical Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
