Assist Market Preceptor in training new hire Medical Assistants and reinforcing Best Practice protocols. **Use your skills to make an impact** CenterWell is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced – **LPN/LVN** – who is interested in growing with the company, working in multiple locations to support our Middle TN market and being a part of something great! **LPN Role Overview:** + Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vitals + Recording & updating patient medical histories in electronic medical records software + Phone Triage using critical clinical judgement. + Delivering results to patients as providers direct. + Performing in-clinic routine tests, screening and point of care testing such as blood draws, EKGs Orthostatic Blood Pressures, Strep, COVID and FLU Nasal and Oral Tests + Scheduling and assisting with external routine screening and diagnostic tests such as mammograms, colorectal screenings, echocardiograms, and bone density screenings. + Medication adherence and refilling medications + Preparing and administering medications, including intramuscular, intradermal, and subcutaneous injections—including vaccinations/immunizations, as directed by a physician or other licensed provider + Counseling patients on medication and special diets + Wound care and changing dressings + Sterilizing and cleaning equipment and ensuring maintenance of examination rooms + Collaborates closely with physicians and nurses to ensure top level patient care + Highly accurate in collecting phlebotomy samples from senior-aged patients **Required Qualifications** + Current licensure as an LPN or LVN + Phlebotomy experience + Reliable transportation + Med adherence/refilling meds + This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
