Visually impaired, Diagnosis is Batten’s Disease, condition is progressive, marked by central visual acuity and peripheral field loss. Decline in bilateral function, multiple mobility impairments including generalized weakness, poor standing balance, decreased independence with transfers, limited gait, fear of falling, and absent safety awareness. The student is in a wheelchair. Needs Amergisum assistance in the bathroom, showering, and daily self-help skills. The student weighs 84lbs.
The nurse must ride the bus with the student per the IEP

The 1:1 School LPN/LVN identifies and treats healthdisorders among students in the school setting. The 1:1 School LPN/LVN providesinstruction for the student’s general wellbeing and disease prevention. TheSchool LPN/LVN monitors the student’s physical conditions in the school settingand refers the student to appropriate resources as needed. The work of the School LPN/LVN is performedin compliance with his/her LPN/LVN scope of practice and according to stateeducation codes.
Minimum Requirements:
