LPN or CMA | Internal Medicine Clinic

CentraCare Internal Medicine has the support of physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. The team consists of 10 MD’s, 10 LPN/CMA’s and 4 Triage RN’s. As an LPN in Internal Medicine, you will likely see between 15-17 patients a day.

In this role, you will provide patient rooming for all types of clinic visits, communicate results and other pertinent medical information to patients and providers, collaborate with on-site X-ray, on-site or nearby pharmacy and laboratory services, and assist in assuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently. Daily tasks can include ear lavages, injections, managing in-basket, answering questions via MyChart, managing provider faxes, and assisting others on the team. As a part of the Internal Medicine team, you would work 1:1 with a provider. 

Schedule:

Full-time | 64-80 hours every 2 weeks. Variable weekday shifts between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.  No nights, weekends or holidays.

Pay and Benefits:

LPN Starting pay $20.20 per hour however, we pay more for experience LPN $2,500 Hiring Bonus CMA starting pay $18.90 per hour, however we pay more for experience. Requirements:

LPN

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff

CMA

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.  Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following:  Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date. American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). American Medical Technologists (AMT). Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA). National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). National Healthcareer Association (NHA). National Association for Health Professionals, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA). Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA). Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy. Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.

Hiring Bonus requirements: Must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from St. Cloud, MN and relocate to within 30 miles within 120 days from start date.
