LPN or CMA | Southway Clinic

Find your purpose as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Medical Assistant, or Medical Assistant with CentraCare Southway Clinic. 

The LPN, CMA, or MA will provide patient rooming for all types of clinic visits, communicate results and other pertinent medical information to patients and providers, assist providers with clinic procedures, accurately and appropriately document procedures and treatments in the patients' electronic medical record, perform telephone screening and gather information from patients to communicate to the RN or provider, administer appropriate medications and immunizations under the direction of the RN or provider, and assist in assuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently.

Schedule:

Full-time | 72-80 hours every 2 weeks Monday through Friday, variable hours between 6:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. 

Pay and Benefits:

Licensed Practical Nurse:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required.

Certified Medical Assistant:

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.  Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following:  Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date. American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) American Medical Technologists (AMT) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) National Healthcareer Association (NHA) National Association for Health Professionals, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)

Medical Assistant:

Additional Requirements:

Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy. Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.

To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from Sartell, MN and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
